Zinc Electroplating
As specialist zinc platers, we electroplate steel components with a sacrificial zinc coating to BS EN ISO 2081: the zinc corrodes in preference to the steel beneath, protecting the part long after minor damage. It's a cost-effective, dimensionally accurate finish with a range of passivate colours and topcoats to suit cosmetic and performance needs.

Passivates & topcoats
A passivate is a thin conversion layer applied over the zinc to boost corrosion resistance and set the colour: clear/blue, black, or coloured. Topcoats such as Enseal 40 and JS500 add further protection and consistency.
